The calendar
One row per field or building, one column per night. Read straight across a row to see whether that field is free — a stay that runs over a Sunday stays in one piece instead of being chopped in half the way a normal month calendar would.
A booking that started before the month you are looking at runs off the left edge rather than disappearing. Enquiries are shown with a dashed outline and can be hidden with the tick-box, so you can see just what is actually committed.
It scrolls in its own panel. Each night is wide enough for a group’s name to show on its booking, so the month scrolls sideways (and down, if you have a lot of fields), with the field names pinned on the left and the dates pinned along the top. The current month opens at this week.
A forecast sits underneath, for the next couple of weeks. It only appears when you’re looking at the current month — a forecast for a date that far off would just be wrong — and it needs an address on the Invoices box on the Prices page to know where to forecast for. No address, no panel; nothing else changes.
