Prices that change from a date
You can set next season’s prices in January without touching this season’s quotes. On the Prices page, Change prices from a date opens a second price list, and anything you put in it applies only to bookings arriving on or after that date.
A booking is priced on the day it arrives, not on the day you look at it, so a quote gives the same answer today and next month. A stay that straddles a price rise is charged at the rate for its arrival date throughout — we do not split a stay across two prices, because the total would then match nothing on your price list and you could not explain it to the group.
On a dated list, an empty box means no change: it keeps charging what it charged before, and the greyed figure in the box shows you what that is. Fill in only what the date changes. That is why a building you add later still has a price — it goes on following the standing one rather than being silently unpriced from the new date.
The one thing a dated list cannot do is stop charging for something. An empty box means “no change”, not “remove”, so clear a price on the standing price list to take it away altogether.
Totals you have already agreed never move. Once a total is agreed it is frozen, so changing prices — from a date or not — cannot alter what an existing booking owes.
